PROJECTS
‘Mothers’ Photobook
Elyssa Kellerman's 25-year photographic journey has remained a hidden treasure, with the majority of her extraordinary images of wildlife never before shared with the world. She captured the nature world through her lens, which was as a mother and has breathtaking photos of animal mothers and their young. To pay homage to her legacy and support the causes she held dear, your contributions to this project will support:
Digitization and Cataloguing
The Creation of the Photobook
Editorial Processes and Team Support
Publishing and Distribution of the Book
Why Your Support Matters: Together, we can ensure that Elyssa's hidden vision comes to light, inspiring generations to come and contributing to a brighter, more sustainable future. Funds from the sale of the book will continue to support EKF wildlife and environmental projects. Join us today and be a part of this transformative journey.
Memorial Butterfly Garden
Honoring Elyssa's love for nature, join us in creating a Memorial Butterfly Garden in Costa Rica, in one of the most biodiverse nature reserves in the Ballena Coast. This garden, dedicated to Elyssa Kellerman's passion for nature, will support the rainforest’s pollinators and also function as an area to display and showcase her photography. Your contributions will support:
Garden Creation & Maintenance
Sponsored Memorial Benches
Photography Displays
Sustainable Conservation
Why Your Support Matters: The Memorial Butterfly Garden is more than a tribute; it's a living testament to Elyssa's enduring passion for the natural world. Your involvement, through sponsorship or donation, allows us to create a lasting impact in the heart of Costa Rica's biodiverse pollinator hotspot. As the garden flourishes, it will be a place of reflection, inspiration, and reverence for the intricate web of life that Elyssa Kellerman cherished.
Preserving Land Through Reviving Indigenous Farming
Join us in our mission to restore indigenous farming practices and conserve land in West Africa. Through the Seeds for Indigenous Life program, we aim to:
Help farmers return to their traditional farming methods that safeguard seeds, topsoils, and their way of life.
Create a more biodiverse, self-sustaining environment for participating communities.
Empower indigenous stewards who have preserved biodiversity for generations.
In Bonangana, near Sokode in Togo, we are supporting the investment in 10 hectares of conservation. Your contribution will support:
Integrating biodiverse natural livestock.
Establishing a wetlands area.
Promoting beekeeping.
Expanding indigenous farming practices to benefit the community and region.
Enhancing seed nursery and storage facilities.
Your contribution supports indigenous agroforestry, seed preservation, and sustainable farming. Together, we can conserve land, protect biodiversity, and empower local communities.
